Safety symbols on the CT system
The following symbols are attached to the CT scanner (CT) or the con-
troller.
Danger symbol for electric voltage:
This symbol indicates a risk to life and
limb.
Danger symbol:
This symbol indicates a danger to people
and the CT system.
Danger symbol for X-ray radiation.
X-ray radiation is dangerous to health.
This symbol indicates a risk to life and
limb.
NOTE
Any work on the controller must be carried out only by an electrical en-
gineer.
Warning signs on CT system
Warning signs are attached to the loading door of the radiation protec-
tion enclosure and the control panel.
