Safe operation of the CT system

Damage to cables

 WARNING

Risk of death due to electric shock and fire caused by damaged
cables.

Live cables may cause electric shocks and burning when touched. They
may also cause fires.

Always handle power cables and other cables carefully.

—

Never put any objects onto the cables.

—

Never step on any cables.

—

Do not bend the cables.

—

If cables are damaged, by all means call a ZEISS service engineer.

What to do in the event of and after a fire

 WARNING

Risk of death due to unforeseeable events caused by fires in
the proximity of the CT system.

Safe operation is not guaranteed in case of fire outbreaks.

Immediately switch the CT system completely off.

 WARNING

Risk of death due to damage to the CT system caused by fire.

Safe operation of the CT system may not be guaranteed after a fire in
the proximity of the CT system.

Loading door

 CAUTION

Risk of crushing when closing the loading door.

Body, arms, hands, and fingers might get crushed.

Make sure before closing the loading door of the radiation protec-
tion enclosure that nobody can reach into the door opening or lean
against the opening towards the interior of the radiation protection
enclosure.
