General precautions
Temperature in the controller cabinet
Extremely increased temperatures in the controller cabinet may
lead to malfunctions.
In an extreme case, a fire may be caused.

Make sure that the required environmental conditions are complied
with.

Make sure that sufficient fresh air is supplied for the fan.
Temperature of the workpiece
Problems if there are large temperature differences between
workpiece and X-ray chamber.
Never check workpieces which do not have the temperature of the inte-
rior of the radiation protection enclosure.

Measure the temperature of the workpiece.
Cleanliness in the X-ray chamber
The interior space of the radiation protection enclosure must
be clean and dust-free.
To keep it clean, observe the following instructions:
— Do not leave the loading door open.
— Open the loading door only for setting up the workpiece and clean-
ing.
—
Set up only clean and dust-free workpieces on the rotary table.
—
Clean the workpieces outside the radiation protection enclosure.
