Dear Parents,
Thank you for purchasing the BABY born® Bathtub.
We would recommend that you read through the instructions for use carefully before using the product
for the first time and retain the packaging for future references.
Please note
• Please wipe the product out carefully with a dry cloth after use.
• Be aware of supervising your child.
• Dry the product thoroughly before opening the battery compartment.
• Do not leave the product near an electrical source or apparatus when wet.
• By following these instructions carefully you can ensure that playing with the product is problem-
free and that it has a long life.
• Use only original accessories as otherwise we cannot guarantee the functionality of components.
• The item must only be set up and cleaned by adults.
• The item is not suitable for children under the age of 3.
• Only fill the product with clear water or with water that contains commercially available bath
additives!
• Do not aim the jet of water at people, other living things or electrical devices.
All about batteries/rechargeable batteries:
• Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life.
• Use only the battery type recommended for the unit.
• Batteries must only be replaced by an adult.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
• Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
• When the product is not used for an extended time, switch button to “OFF” position for longer
battery life time.
• We also recommend removing batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit.
• If moisture gets into the battery compartment, dry with a cloth.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy and taken to special waste
collection point.
• Do not throw batteries into a fire as they may explode or leak.
Preparation
Included Batteries are only intended to use for demonstration at retail.
Insertion of batteries should be done by an adult as follows:
1. Set the switch on the battery compartment to “OFF”. (Fig.A)
2. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment. (Fig.A)
3. Insert the 4 x 1.5V AA (LR6) batteries. Please check if the polarity is correct. (Fig.B)
4. Screw the cover of the battery compartment back on again. (Fig.A)
5. Set the switch on the battery compartment to “ON”. (Fig.A)
Function
The BABY born® Bathtub only operates properly when the ON/OFF/Try Me switch is switched to the ON
position.
Please be aware that this is a water toy! Use only on suitable surfaces.
Please fill the water up to the mark. (Fig.1)
To shower the doll, press the BABY born® button on the bathtub. (Fig. 2)
