28

To remove the battery

a.  Insert key and turn counterclockwise to open first lock.
b.  Turn safety lock in direction of arrow shown while holding top of battery with other hand.
c.  Carefully remove battery.

Step 10: Install Secondary Battery (Optional)

a.  Make sure battery is in unlocked position.
b.  Put battery into position so tabs on battery dock fit into slots on bottom of battery.
c.  Push battery into dock so it is full seated.
d.  Turn key to locked position to secure battery to frame.
e.  Press I/O switch on battery to turn battery on. Turn battery off when bike will not be used.
