4.2.3 20 mA SINK Function
The 20 mA SINK function can draw a preset amount of current from
an external voltage source to the H terminal. Thus, you can use the
calibrator in a loop test, for example, as a simulator for two-wire
transmitters. In that case, use this function within the 5 to 28 V range
of applied voltages. The minimum value of the range for the 20 mA
SINK function is 0.1 mA. You can test the I/O signals of a distributor
by wiring the calibrator as indicated by the dashed lines in the
following figure.

Step 1:
Before connecting to the terminals, select

source range setting rotary switch.
Step 2:
Connect the positive terminal of an external power source
to the H output terminal and the negative terminal to the L
output terminal.
Step 3:
Turn on the external power source and press the
key.

To turn off the output, press the
