to make the crisscross cylinder accurately test the astigmatic axis of the right eye.

Call in speckle sighting mark and ±0.25D crisscross cylinder.

）

Reverse side 1 and side 2 of the crisscross cylinder, ask the patient: which side is more distinct?   

When the side 1 is more distinct: enlarge the axis; 

When the side 2 is more distinct: reduce the axis.

）

Repeat above steps until the definitions of side 1 and 2 look the same.
