At the first commissioning respectively after an overall reset with PowerON again of the
CPU, the Ethernet PG/OP channel has no IP address. This can only be reached by its
MAC address. By means of the MAC address, which is printed at the front as
‘MAC PG/
OP:...’
, you can assign IP address data. The assignment takes place directly via the
hardware configuration of the Siemens SIMATIC Manager.
