ADJUSTING THE  REAR WHEEL  STATIC  BAL-
ANCE
NOTE:

After replacing the tire, wheel or both, the
rear wheel static balance should be ad-
justed.

Adjust the rear wheel static balance with
the brake disc and rear wheel drive hub in-
stalled.

1. Adjust:

rear wheel static balance
Refer to “ADJUSTING THE FRONT
WHEEL STATIC BALANCE”.

ASSEMBLING THE BRAKE SHOE PLATE

1. Install:

brake camshaft

8

brake shoe wear indicator

Install the brake camshaft so its punch mark

a

 is positioned as shown.

b.

Align the projection 

b

 on the brake shoe

wear indicator with the notch in the brake
shoe camshaft.

c.

Check that the brake shoes are properly
positioned.
