CLEANING THE AIR FILTER ELEMENT

CLEANING THE SPARK ARRESTER AND
EXHAUST CHAMBER

1. Remove:

Tail pipe

Muffler

Exhaust chamber assembly

Gasket

2. Check:

Tail pipe

NOTE:

Use a wire brush to remove any carbon deposits
from the spark arrester portion of the tail pipe.

Tap the tail pipe lightly and remove the carbon
deposits from the outside portion of the tail pipe.

Exhaust chamber
If the carbon deposit use the round
scraper to remove the carbon deposit.

3. Install:

Gasket

Exhaust manifold bolt

Exhaust chamber assembly

Muffler

Spark arrester

CLEANING THE AIR FILTER ELEMENT

1. Remove:

Seat assembly

Air filter case cover

2. Remove:

Air filter element
