16. Adjust the length of standard ignition tim-

ing adjusting screw

so that the timing

mark

on the flywheel aligns with the mark

on the base assembly.

17. Make sure that the carburetor pick-up tim-

ing is correct.

18. Install the spark plugs.

19. Install the intake silencer and flywheel

cover.

20. Connect the throttle cable.

21. Start the engine, and check the engine idle

speed.

22. Check the ignition timing by means of the

timing light.
