Assembling the propeller shaft assem-
bly

1. Assemble the slider assembly.

60h60290

NOTE:
It is recommended to apply grease or the like
to the balls to make the assembling work
easier.

2. Insert the slider assembly

into the pro-

peller shaft

NOTE:
Make sure that the cross pin holes are aligned
when inserting the slider assembly.

3. Install the dog clutch

in the marked ori-

entation, and fit-in the cross pin

NOTE:
A new dog clutch may be installed in either
ways.

4. Install the cross pin ring.

NOTE:
Make sure that the spring is not twisted or over-
laid as installed.
