Note: Sliding the Sensitivity bar to the left will decrease the sensitivity of the motion detection i.e. ‘More’ movement is
required to trigger the alarm. The best way to configure these settings is to adjust the settings and have someone walk in
front of the camera until your feel you are getting the required results. This trial and error method make take quite long
to get right but it’s the best way to obtain good results.
6.6.2.2 Privacy Mask Window
Y-cam privacy mask can be set up to block out areas that you do not wish any recording or snapshot to take place.
[Mask]
Check this box to enable the window.
[Transparent]
Determines the transparency of the highlighted area. 0 is completely mask and 3 is completely
transparent.
[Colour]
Determines the shade of the privacy mark. 0 is white and 5 is black.
Please note:
Motion detection and privacy mask uses the Java plug-in. You will need to install
or enable this plug-in if you do not have it.
