5.4 M E M O R Y DEVICE CONFIGURATION (W1-4, W6-9)
The memory expansion module's four sockets are organized as two groups of two sockets each.
Configuration for various devices to be used in each group is controlled by jumper arrays W1-4 for
sockets A and B, and W6-9 for sockets E and F.
Each group of sockets must contain devices of a single type. Different groups of sockets can have
different devices. F o r example, Group 1 (sockets A and B) could both be EPROMs, and group 2
(sockets E and F) could both be SRAMs. However, you cannot use a SRAM in socket A, and an
EPROM in socket
B.
