4.2.7.
Technical parameters of the regulation accessory - part of standard delivery of the curtain
4.2.8.
Description of regulation settings
-
Based on the local situation, consider setting the regulation before placing it in the final position
.
Especially when chaining curtains and when installing the regulations vertically (towards the floor).
There is a risk of impaired access to curtain function settings.
-
Any settings must be made with the curtain power off - NEVER WHEN THE CURTAIN IS IN OPERATION.
Electric shock hazard. All the curtain functions is powered by 230 VAC.
4.2.8.1.
Setting the curtain performance according to the size - height of the shielded opening
-
Depending on the size of the shielded opening and the local construction conditions (e.g.: stairway draft),
select the required shielding level.
-
To better understand the shielding level setting, you can use the following table (also located on the
curtain). The table can in no way match the local conditions. These are only recommended values based
on the ideal conditions.
-
The proposal of the correct shading performance should be defined by an HVAC specialist or designer
4.2.8.2.
Setting of delayed curtain switching-off
-
Setting of delayed curtain switching-off is used to optimise the operation of the curtain, the noise comfort
of persons in the shielded room and to save costs associated with frequent start-up of fans and heating.
-
The delay time is always counted from the moment the door is closed. If the door is opened while the
delay is running, the delay is reset and starts again when the door is closed
-
The correct switch-off delay is set according to the average time of passage through the shielded opening.
The more often someone passes through the shielded opening the longer the time should be set.
-
Example 1. - supermarket entrance - a large number of people passing by
o
The average time of passage through the shielded opening is about every 2 minutes. The delay
time should be set to about 10 min.
-
Example 2. - entrance to a standard retail store - a low number of people passing by
o
The average time of passage through the shielded opening is about every 30 minutes. Set the delay
time to about 10 sec (factory setting)
-
Delay setting range is from 1 sec to 20 min
-
The minimum recommended value for delayed switching-off is 5 sec.
-
Always adjust the delay on the curtain when the curtain power is off - NEVER WHILE THE CURTAIN IS IN
OPERATION
