COLLATING AND SORTING

Collating and Sorting

The 490cx is normally set with the Collation off. Therefore, collating copies
always requires that the collation be turned on before copying. Otherwise,
the copies will be uncollated.To Collate and Sort copies:

1. With the document inserted in the Automatic Document Feeder, press the

Collate

button. The LCD display shows the Copy Collate options.

2. Selecting 1. ON will collate your copies. There are two collation modes,

NOR (Normal) and REV (Reverse).
