Printer settings
■
Output color
[Auto] Automatically determines if each page of the document is color or black and
white.
[Black] Prints in black and white.
■
Print Mode
[High Speed] Prints at high-speed.
[High Quality] Prints in higher image quality.
[Standard] Prints at normal printing speed and in normal image quality.
■
Paper sizes
[A4] Prints out to A4-size paper.
[Auto] Automatically determines the paper size according to the document size and
settings of the PDF file to be printed.
■
Paper Type
[Standard] Prints out to plain paper.
[Printer Settings] Prints out to paper loaded in Tray 5 (bypass tray). The paper type selected for
Tray 5 (bypass tray) in the Common Menu is valid.

2 sided
[1 Sided Print] Disables 2 sided print.
[Long Edge Flip] Prints a document so that the images on both front and back pages are in the
upward orientation when bound at the long edge.
[Short Edge Flip] Prints a document so that the images on both front and back pages are in the
upward orientation when bound at the short edge.
■
Layout
[Auto Zoom] Automatically enlarges/reduces the document size according to the paper size.
[100%] Prints the document without changing the size. Paper size is always set to A4.
[Booklet] Performs 2 sided print with pages assigned like a catalog.
[2 up] Prints 2 pages of a document on one sheet. Paper size is always set to A4.
[4 up] Prints 4 pages of a document on one sheet. Paper size is always set to A4.
This cannot be used depending on the page configuration of the PDF file. In this
case, you may get the correct print result when specifying [Long Edge Flip] in [2
sided] and [Auto Zoom] in [Layout].
