2. Align a single sheet of paper, label stock, transparency, and
so forth, towards the arrow and against the feed guide at
the left edge of the bypass tray.
3. Insert the sheet of paper until it meets resistance. Keep the
paper straight (aligned and flush with the left feed guide) to
avoid a skewed print. (Skewed print appears on the sheet
out of alignment or slanted at an angle.) Maintain pressure
against the paper until it moves, then release it. The paper
is automatically drawn into the printer when it is ready to
print.
If your manual feed print job is completed, continue with step 5.
Follow these instructions when feeding subsequent sheets of
paper through the bypass slot:
4. Watch for the add paper message and listen for the chime.
The message and chime tone indicate that the printer is
ready to accept the next sheet of paper.
Note: The previous sheet should have fallen into the output tray.
