Compare Mode

The Compare mode is useful for quickly determining the color difference between a standard
and trial. A standard and trial can be measured or retrieved from a file. Up to 10 trial

measurements can be taken for a standard.
Printed reports can be configured to include the Mean values if enabled in the

Admin/Compare page.
Measurements taken on this screen do not affect the current setup, log file, or require the

VeriColor Spectro instrument to be setup with a project.
The Compare dialog is accessed by clicking the

Compare

button at the bottom of the

application.

Select the operator that will be running the compare from the

Operator

drop down list.

The operator names listed are entered in Compare options page of the Admin dialog.

Enter required information in the two fields below the operator's name. In the dialog

above, they are

Lot ID:

and

Serial ID:

. The text to the left of the two fields is specified

in the Compare options page in the Admin dialog.

Enter additional information/comments in the

Comment

field.

Selecting a Standard from File

Click the

Standard from file

button to open a dialog where a stored standard can be

selected as the target color.
