ProTechTPS Total Protection System

Manual 26710V1

Woodward

Verify that the dip switch on the front of the device is in the down position,
indicating RS-485 communications. When configuring for RS-485, termination
resistors (120



) are needed at each end of the network. Note the location of the

resistor on the device. The ProTech has the termination resistor built into the
module, jumpers are necessary between terminals 14 – 15 and 18 – 19 to
activate the termination.

Configuration

Configuration of the UDS100-Xpress DR IAP is done through DeviceInstaller.
The configuration software is provided with the device.
