First verify if appropriate TX and RX units that will have the HDMI audio routed are
joined:
1) Verify if the Decoder (RX) is currently joined to the appropriate Encoder (TX).
a) Click on the RX and the Encoder (TX) it is joined to will be highlighted by yellow.
b) Selecting the T
X will highlight all the other RX’s joined to the same TX.
2) If the appropriate Encoder (TX) is not joined presently to the Decoder (RX) proceed
to join them:
a) In the Encoder section, select a TX by clicking on its associated active tile with
the left mouse button.
b) Drag and drop the TX tile over the RX tile it is to be joined with.
c) TX and RX are now joined.
d) Repeat above steps if additional RX are to be joined to the same TX.
To control if the HDMI audio is sent out on the HDMI output port or the Analog output
port complete the following steps:
1) Right click a Decoder (RX) and from the menu select Settings.
2) To direct audio to the HDMI output, select the HDMI Encoder tab and then choose
either:
a) HDMI Audio (All Available Channels) to select the original multichannel audio;
b) HDMI Audio (Stereo Downmix) to select downmixed 2-channel audio.
