Assembly
Fixing of handle and adjustment of height (fig. M1/M2/M3/M4)
ATTENTION! Take care that theswitch cable does not become caught and crused when folding the handle frame.
Fold upper handle sction forward. Tighten hand wheels firmly M1/M2. Fold complete handle backwards, position at the correct
height and tightem firmly M3/M4.
Starter cord assembly (fig. B6/B7/B8)
Lift and hold operator presence bail arm B6/B7 (1). Pull the starter rope slowly to the holding bracket, and twist the cord through
the holder (B8). Always remove the starter cord from the holder before folding the mower handles.
Operation
Oil Fill (fig. B1)
Fill crankcase with quality oil HD SAE 15-W40 up to the mark „Full“ on dipstick. (Do not overfill.) Capacity approx. 0,6 litre. Screw
in dipstick according to illus. A B,
check oil level with mower standing on level ground.
Filling with Petrol (fig. B2)
Do not smoke - no naked flames!
Switch off engine. Avoid spilling petrol when engine is warm. Use „low-octane petrol“ (do not
use Super Plus). Avoid petrol spillage. Do not inhale vapour.
Attaching of grassbox (fig. B3)
Lift deflector lid, locate grassbox hook into opening of chassis (see arrow) and replace lid.
Use of heigth adjustment (fig. B4)
Only when mower is stationary and rotating blade has come to complete standstill.
Place hand into handle bar and depress button (A). Lift or lower chassis until it engages into required position (´B).
Selection of Cutting height
If possible, mow when grass is dry in order to protect turf. Do not set cutting position too low when mowing very tall or wet grass. We
recommend an average cutting height of 4,5 cm.
The “QuickStart” is activated when first placing in service or after repair work with start variants 1 and 2. Once the motor is
running, it can always be started thereafter with the “QuickStart”. Deactivation must be carried out before repair work and
before storage, for safety reasons. See the chapter on maintenance in this regard.
Start the machine on a level surface, not in tall grass if possible.
Note:
The safety key is removable (protects against unintended starting, fig. B5, A1).
Activating QuickStart with start variant 1 (fig. B5/B6/B7/B8)
1. Firmly press the primer on the motor three times (B5)
2. Turn safety key (B5, A) to the “RUN” position
3. Press red button (B6/B7 B) and keep it depressed
4. Lift the safety frame (B6/B7, 1) and hold it in place
5. Release red button (B6/B7, B)
6. Pull starter rope (B8, D): The motor is running

Stopping the motor:
Release safety frame (B6/B7, 1)

When leaving and storing the device:
Turn safety key (B5, A) to the position
“Lock & Remove”
and remove.
Activating QuickStart with start variant 2 (fig. B5/B6/B7/B8)
1. Turn safety key (B5, A) to the “RUN” position
2. Pull start rope (B8, D) 7x all the way through to its stop
3. Firmly press the primer on the motor three times (B5)
4. Press red button (B6/B7 B) and keep it depressed
5. Lift the safety frame (B6/B7, 1) and hold it in place The motor is running
6. Release red button (B6/B7, B)

Stopping the motor:
Release safety frame (B6/B7, 1)

When leaving and storing the device:
Turn safety key (B5, A) to the position
“Lock & Remove”
and remove.
QuickStart (fig. B5/B6/B7/B8)
Only if motor start has previously been executed via start variants 1 or 2
1. Firmly press the primer on the motor (B5) three times (only for a cold start)
2. Turn safety key (B5, A) to the “RUN” position
3. Press red button (B6/B7 B) and keep it depressed
4. Lift the safety frame (B6/B7, 1) and hold it in place The motor is running
5. Release red button (B6/B7, B)

Stopping the motor:
Release safety frame (B6/B7, 1)

When leaving and storing the device:
Turn safety key (B5, A) to the position
“Lock & Remove”
and remove.
Note:
The startup noise during
QuickStart
is caused by the system.
Wheel drive - Premio 46 TMA (fig. B7)
1.
Wheel drive on:
Slowly lift drive frame (B7, 2) to the stop and then hold.
2.
Wheel drive off:
Release drive frame (B7, 2).
Checking the charge -

Attention!
Use the gear level (C) only when the device is moving. - 1. gear (3) = slow (2 km/h). 2. gear (4) = fast (4 km/h).
Mowing (fig. B9)
Always mow using throttle lever setting Power. Mow with throttle lever on „Betrieb“ position. Start engine with mower placed on
level and firm ground. Turn mower on lawn area already mown. Do not leave mower standing with engine running for longer than
absolutely necessary.
Emptying of grassbox (fig. B10)
Only when mower is stionary and rotating blade has come to complete standstill. Box filling indicator:
The flap drops down when
grassbox is full. To ensure properfunctioning of the indicator it is important that the grilles below are kept clean using a hand brush.
