Compressed air
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to uncontrolled release of compressed
air!
If compressed air escapes uncontrolled, there is a risk of injury.
• Do not exceed a supply pressure of 12 bar.
• Make sure that the compressor is suitable for operation with the
ProofMaster.
• Observe the instructions from the compressor manufacturer.
Mandatory
Read and follow the instructions supplied with the
compressor.
Only qualified persons who are trained in the operation of the
compressor and familiar with the associated instructions may work on
the compressor.
Recommended compressor

Required equipment
• ProofMaster
• Compressed air hose
• Compressor (not included in the scope of delivery of ProofMaster)
Connecting

a) Put the compressor into operation as specified in the
manufacturer's instructions.
b) Make sure that the compressor is switched off and the outlet valve
is closed.
c) Connect the coupling of the compressed air hose

to the
compressor.
d) Insert the open end of the compressed air hose

into the
compressed air plug connection of the ProofMaster

.
e) Check whether the compressed air hose
4
is properly fastened by
gently pulling it.
f) Open the outlet valve of the compressor.

The compressed air supply is now connected.
Disconnecting

a) Close the outlet valve of the compressor.
b) Drain the air from the hose.
c) Press the ring

and pull the compressed air hose

out of the
corresponding plug connection

d) Remove the coupling of the compressed air hose

from the
compressor.

The compressed air supply is now disconnected.
