2.13 External Connectors
Power OFF the FM12Q before connecting cables to any port. Most of the external connectors for
the FM12Q
are located on the vehicle dock.

COM1 connects to a device such
as printer or scanner.

COM2 connects to a device such
as printer or scanner.

USB connects to USB devices
such as USB flash drive, mouse,
keyboard, printer etc. this USB
also accept a dongle cable with a
USB host port and a USB Client
port.

CAN Bus / Audio allows direct
linking into vehicle, enable access
to wide range of vehicle data and
Audio connects to a stereo
headset, external speakers or
audio recording device.

LAN port connects to on access
point that provides connection to
network.
