Material damage on the reader with internal
control unit due to vandalism!
When using a reader with internal control unit,
material damage due to vandalism is possible on
the external area.
To prevent vandalism damage on the reader with
external control unit in the external area, always
mount a reader with external control unit.
2.9 Risk of break-in

Greater risk of break-in due to lost keys.
If an unauthorised person gets hold of a key, they
may gain access to private or commercial buildings
and premises.

Report the loss of a key to the administrator
immediately.

Remove all locking rights from the key.

There is an increased risk of break-in when a reader
with internal control unit is installed outdoors.
For outdoor installation, use a reader with external
control unit and install the control unit in the
secured internal area.
