VGA MENU SX/DX
The items in this menu are used to control the LCD display. The VGA menu is shown below. Each
option is detailed below.

Display Mode
Select
Both
if you wish to be able to view the LCD and an external monitor at the same time (this option
is available for monochrome models only).
Select
LCD
to view the LCD only.
Select
CRT
to view an external monitor only.
LCD Automap Display (Monochrome Models Only)
This item can be Enabled/Disabled. For best results, you should normally enable this item. This item is
provided to improve the display of certain programs on the LCD screen. [SX/DX 8-9]
Text Mode (Monochrome Models Only)
Select either
Normal
or
Reverse
for text mode. In
Normal
mode, programs running in text mode will be
displayed with dark characters on a light background. In
Reverse
mode, the display will consist of light
characters on a dark background.
Graphics Mode (Monochrome Models Only)
Select either
Normal
or
Reverse
for graphics mode. In
Normal
mode, programs running in graphics
mode will be displayed with dark characters on a light background. In
Reverse
mode, the display will
consist of light characters on a dark background.
