OTHER AVAILABLE OPTIONS SX/DX 

Note that the following options are also available for the 486SX/DX-WinBook, but these options are

NOT 

ones the user can install, they must be installed by an authorized dealer. For further information,

please call your dealer. 

Memory Options

 

The standard 486SX/DX-WinBook comes with 4MB of memory on a custom memory module. Memory
expansion modules supporting 8MB, 16MB and 32MB are also available. Increasing the memory will
greatly enhance the performance of programs that use large amounts of memory, such as Windows.

Optional Fax/Modem

 

An optional Fax/Modem can be installed in the unit, providing a 2400 Hayes compatible modem and G3
compatible fax with send/receive capabilities.[SX/DX 6-8]
