3. Safety

3.1 Explanation of symbols

DANGER!

3.2 Intended use

The intrinsically safe process transmitter measures gauge pressure, absolute pressure

and vacuum. The physical quantity pressure is converted into an electrical signal.

Only use the intrinsically safe process transmitter in applications that lie within its techni-

cal performance limits (e.g. max. ambient temperature, material compatibility, ignition

protection type, ...). Instruments with a flush process connection must not be used with

media which might damage the diaphragm of the process connection.
