9. Safety instructions
Damaged safety devices and parts must be replaced
or repaired by Wieland Technik before the
unit is used again.
9.5. Only use the power cable for its intended
purpose.
Do not use the power cable to pull the plug out of
the socket
Protect the power cable from heat, oil and sharp
edges.
9.6. Take good care of the unit.
Keep the unit clean to ensure good, safe and
reliable operation.
9.7. Only use the original accessories.
For your safety only use accessories or ancillary
equipment recommended or prescribed in the
operating instructions.
9.8. The heater can reach temperatures of 200 °C
during electroforming.
The normal working temperature is approximately
75 °C. Do not touch the heater inside the electrofor-
ming module when removing the electroforming
cell.
You may suffer burns.
9.9. Do not open the unit.
The inside of the unit does not contain any user-
serviceable parts. Please ensure that no objects
enter the inside of the unit through the ventilation
slots. This could cause a short circuit or give you an
electric shock.
9.10. Only use the unit for its intended purpose
and only use accessories recommended by
Wieland Technik.
Risk of skin burns! When operating, the heating
ring can reach temperatures of 200 °C.
Do not touch the heater or the heating ring.
