2.5. End of processing
When the electroforming time has elapsed the unit
automatically switches off the electroforming current,
the heater and the agitator.
The display changes automatically to the "Electroforming
finished" menu. Press "Continue" to view the "Proces-
sing data" screen with all the details of the electrofor-
ming process that has just finished. Press "Main menu"
to return to the main menu.
2.5.1. Removing the electroforming cell /
Removing parts
Remove the whole electroforming cell from the unit.
Turn the sealing clip to the right up to the marking to
release the electroforming head, remove the sealing clip
and open carefully. Fix the magnetic agitator rod to the
counter magnet and pour the gold bath into a collecting
vessel.
Clean the glass beaker with plenty of running water and
rinse with distilled water.
Rinse the contact rods with the electroformed parts briefly
under running water. The anode ring can be cleaned with
a steam jet. To remove the electroformed parts gently
twist off the stainless steel contact rod, fixing the contact
tags with your thumbs to prevent the margin from distor-
tion.
Caution:
Please follow the cleaning instructions in
chapter 8 page 29.
The electroformed parts can now be processed
as
described in the AGC manual on dental procedures
.
