In this case, we are connecting to a surface that has a factory default IP and configu-
ration settings. This option allows us to retrieve this information from the surface, and
allow you to make necessary changes to fit your installation.
When you select this option, the LXE Surface Setup GUI scans the networks that the
PC is connected to for LXE Surface Hosts.
Select the Undefined Surface, and click Finish.
If the application is successful in synchronizing with the target Surface host, you
should see a representation of your surface module layout in the Module Layout Tab.
Additionally, you will see the word Connected in the LXE
Surface Setup GUI Status bar in the lower right hand corner
of the GUI.
