By now you have read that the LXE is fully customizable. Each encoder, button, and
screen can be programmed to any desired function. This is great news, as your mixing
surface will not have the limiting factors as in the past. With this said, we should point
out that when we build your LXE at the factory, it will be “pre programmed” with the
most basic functions so that you don’t have to spend hours learning the custom parts to
just get the surface up and running. In the Sections below we will cover the new features
added to each module and note how each button and switch and OLED screen should
function using a “factory” image or setup. Most but not all functions will be similar to
our legacy surfaces.
