4.3   PRE-OPERATION CHECKLIST 

Efficient 

and 

safe 

operation 

of 

the 

FUEL

CUBE

TM

  requires  that  each  operator 

reads and understands the using procedures 
and all related safety precautions outlined in 
this  section.    A  pre-operation  checklist  is 
provided  for  the  operator.   It  is  important for 
both the personal safety and maintaining the 
good 

mechanical 

condition 

of 

the 

FUEL

CUBE

TM

 that this checklist is followed.  

Before using the 

FUEL

CUBE

TM

 and each time 

thereafter,  the  following  areas  should  be 
checked off: 

 

 

Disconnect and secure all the lines and 
hoses. 

 

 

Close and tighten filler cap when tank is 
full. 

 

 

Turn pump off and disconnect or remover 
power lines. 

 

 

Check the interstice area (bund).  Clean 
if there is any debris, trash or diesel fuel. 

 

 

Check that all the required 
documentation and placards are with the 
unit and in good condition.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.4   MACHINE BREAK-IN 

Although there are no operational restrictions 
on 

FUEL

CUBE

TM

 when used for the first time, 

it  is  recommended  that  the  following 
mechanical items be checked: 

After Using for 1 and 5 Hours: 

 

 

Check all nuts, bolts and other fasteners. 
Tighten to their specified torque level. 

 

 

 Check that the fuel lines and 
connections are in good condition and 
there are no leaks. 

 

 

 Check that the electrical system is in 
good condition.  Be sure all terminals and 
connectors are clean and fully engaged. 

 

 

 Then go to the regular service scheduled 
as defined in Section 5. 

 

4.5   MACHINE CONTROLS 

The 

FUEL

CUBE

TM

 is designed and built with 

components  that  allow  for  easy  and 
convenient filling and transferring fuel.  Each 
operator  should  be  trained  in 

FUEL

CUBE

TM

 

operation  before  using  the  controls  on  the 
unit.  They must also be required to know all 
the legal and regulatory regulations relating to 
the transporting and handling of fuel. 
 
Review the controls on the unit, as well as 
any controls on accessory equipment prior to 
using and as a part of your regular training 
program. 
 
The

 

FUEL

CUBE

TM

 is designed with a line for 

drawing fuel out of the tank and a line for 
returning the unused fuel from the remote 
engine.   
 
Pumps, gauges, meters, quick couplers and 
nozzles are optional equipment. All third-
party manufacturer instructions provided with 
optional equipment should be followed.
