Manual control unit functions
When putting the health care bed into operation it is necessary to pay attention to the following
points. First make sure that the power supply is guaranteed as described in 3.3!
By using the magnetic key which is attached at the manual control unit-cable at time of delivery of the
health care bed all functions can be locked and unlocked by passing the key over the lower part of the
manual control device!
In case of deranged or certifiable insane patients this magnetic key is to
be kept safe, for their security, by the nursing staff
To lock or unlock the device it is necessary to pass the magnetic key over the lower part of the manual
control unit, over the company adhesive label.

Explanation of locking and unlocking function:
If the power supply is connected the pilot-lamp “POWER ON” is permanently illuminated.
1. By passing the magnetic key over the lower part of the manual control once the following
functions are enabled:

Adjustment of head and foot section, height adjustment of the bed.
If the bed is equipped with „Trendelenburg positioning“ this feature will be still locked.
“Anti-Trendelenburg” positioning is unlocked.
