Unit turns on, no waveform is displayed but function key options are displayed. 

 

 

Press any key on the keyboard, if no response there is a possible communications problem between front end board 
and motherboard. 
1)

 

Replace cable between front end and motherboard. 

2)

 

Replace front end board 

3)

 

Replace motherboard 

 

No keyboard functions and LCD is frozen 

 

Note: It is possible that the LCD may be active but not receiving new data 

There is a software problem. 
1)

 

Remove AC power from the unit. 

2)

 

Press and hold the On/Off key for 10 seconds. Unit should turn off. 

3)

 

Wait 10 seconds then turn the unit on again. Unit should start to respond correctly. 

 

Or 

 

1)

 

Remove AC power. 

2)

 

Remove battery fuse from unit and leave out for 10 seconds. 

3)

 

Install battery fuse.
