Part 4:
In part 4 important parameters for mechanical and electrical configuration are set. Most parameters are
only of interest to a WEISS service technician.
For customer-specific applications, the parameters
QuickStop_Input and Stop_Input are important. If an
HP140 with shortened horizontal stroke is used, check the Length parameter of the Y axis .
Group general:
length: Mechanical length of the axis. The usable length is reduced by two millimeters, i.e.
there should be one millimeter distance from each stop.
Example: Length = 270 => Stroke = 268

Monitoring the difference between target and real position.
window Profibus:
Target window valid for the “Move to Pos Bus” command.
encoder direction: Direction of rotation encoder with reference to the motor phases.
limit switch:
If the motion area is limited by an end-of-travel switch, this can be activated here.
Break contacts must be used.
simulation:
Drive simulation mode, i.e. without connected motor.
quick_stop_Input:
This defines the function of the input X1/2 on the ACOPOS:
- no function
- Quickstop LOW active
- Quickstop HIGH active
If this input is active, the axis is decelerated with maximum possible power
and any further drive movement is prevented. Since this is done via the
ACOPOS operating system, this input alone is not sufficient to guarantee full
emergency shut-off functionality.
After this parameter has been changed, the PLC must be restarted.
