4.3.3 I/O configuration 

Open the dialog for configuring the digital inputs and outputs by pressing the "I/O config" button in the 

Tools -

> Hardware_Config

 menu. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This  dialog  is  used  to  parameterize  the  digital  inputs  and  outputs  and  to  configure  the  handshake  via 
Profibus. The differentiation is done by the naming of each signal. For example “I 1.1“ –> Input 1.1 and „Bit 1“ 
–> Profibus Bit 1. The various interfaces can be used simultaneously. 
 
It is sufficient to enter, e.g. “1.1“ + ENTER. You do not have to enter the “I“. In English the inputs are “I” and 
the outputs “Q”. 
 

 

 
Caution: 
In the windows program, the numeration of the bits is starting with “1”.
