7.2.2. V-belt drive

 

The V-belt drive is a low-maintenance assembly which is however crucial for the proper 
operation of the unit. The belt tension and alignment affect the service life of the belt and also 
of the fan/motor bearings. It is therefore very important that the V-belt is regularly checked 
for proper tensioning and alignment.
