Installing the Liner & Piston
The following procedure outlines installing the liner and the piston into the MP-16 pump.
NOTE
If replacing components, it is important to remember that the liners are generally
sturdier than the pistons, and have a significantly longer operational life. In most
cases, a liner should last through about 2-3 pistons.

Check that all parts are clean and free of
nicks and burrs as per 4.5.2: Pre-Installation
Procedure.

If necessary, Install the Wear Plate as per
4.6.5.

Coat the inner diameter of the liner and the
outer diameter of the piston with grease, and
insert the piston rod into the liner. Hold the
piston rod centered at the rear of the liner.
