Calibrating the system
5.1
When to calibrate
Calibration is an important part of using the GlucoMen
Day CGM system to obtain the highest accuracy possible
for your CGM.
NOTE: No extra calibrations are allowed in the first six hours.
IMPORTANT
: When using the GlucoMen Day CGM, always
carry a blood glucose meter for calibrating the system.
Approximately 24 hours before the session is scheduled
to end, the app provides the following indications:
•
If you have allowed the app to send notifications, you
will receive a notification that the session will end soon.
•
The app displays a message that the session will end
soon.
When it is time to replace your sensor, the app provides
the following indications:
•
If you have allowed the app to send notifications, you
will receive a notification that the session has ended.
•
The app displays a message that the session has ended.
•
The
HOME
screen and
TRANSMITTERS
screen show
instructions indicating that a session is not in progress.
You can also replace the sensor sooner if:
•
You have pain, tenderness, or swelling at the sensor
insertion site.
•
You are undergoing a medical procedure, such as an
MRI, that requires you to remove the sensor.
•
The app instructs you to remove the sensor.
