Step 1: Installing the Receiver
❑
Mount the receiver on top of the fuselage, in front of
the hole that the servo wires come out, using a small piece
of double-sided foam tape.
☞
Depending on the size of the receiver you're using, you
may need to move it forward so it does not interfere with the
back of the wing mount when the wing is installed.
●
Plastic antenna bobbin is shown in front of the receiver.
IMPORTANT
If you are using a receiver any larger than the Cirrus MRX-4 or Hitec Feather, we strongly suggest removing the case to
reduce the overall weight and to reduce its size. If removing the case from your receiver, make sure to apply heat-shrink
material around the receiver to protect the exposed circuit board.

(1) Decal Sheet
YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES:

IMPORTANT
The locations of the radio equipment shown in the next few steps is only approximate. This is how our test airplanes were
set up. The locations of your radio equipment could differ and should be dependent on what type of equipment you use
and where you balance your airplane. Balancing will be done in the next section.
❑
Plug the elevator and rudder servo leads into their proper slots in the receiver.
❑
Uncoil the receiver antenna and feed it through the hole you cut in the top of the fuselage (where the servo wires come
out), down through the inside of the fuselage, and out the back.
IMPORTANT
Make sure that the receiver antenna is not wrapped around or otherwise touching any of the pushrod wires or radio
interference could result.
