Maintenance

Required Materials

• Slotted head screwdriver

• Powder-free gloves

Procedure

To replace the lamp:

1. Power off the 2996 Detector, disconnect the power cord, and allow the lamp to cool

for at least 15 minutes.

2. Lift up the front panel cover and pull it away from the chassis.

3. Open lamp secure panel.

Caution:

To avoid electrical hazards when you perform the following procedure, power

off the 2996 Detector and disconnect the power cord.

Caution:

To avoid the possibility of contacting hot surfaces, wait at least

15 minutes after powering off the detector before you handle the lamp.
