2. MOTOR BRAKES - MANDATORY

Each column motor has a 24VDC brake which must be disengaged to allow motor operation. The brake

is mechanically engaged and must have power to disengage.

Typical (example-only; see bolded text) motor brake connections to the post termination box are:

PRIMARY COLUMN MOTOR BRAKE:

Uses terminals (+) 25 & (-) 26

SECONDARY COLUMN MOTOR BRAKE:

Uses terminals (+) 27 & (-) 28
