Input Arguments
Description
Force Data
Input value Bit mask and port assignment:
Bit 0: port X01,
Bit 1: port X02,
Bit 2: port X03, ...
Bit value 0: The pin has an input value of 0.
Bit value 1: The pin has an input value of 1.
Example 1 (Force Mask has a value of 4): A value of 0
sets the input value of port X03 to 0. A value of 4 sets
the input value of port X03 to 1.
Example 2 (Force Mask has a value of 7): A value of 0
sets the input value of ports X01, X02 and X03 to 0. A
value of 5 sets the input value of port X02 to 0 and the
input value of ports X01 and X03 to 1.

The OutputPin4 method sets the output value of pin 4 of one or more ports.
Requirements
• You must have an OPC UA client.
• You must know the username and password, and this user must have permission to
execute methods.
• You must have already established a connection to the I/O module.
• The Force function must be enabled, i.e. you must know the Force ID.
• The pin must be configured as a digital output.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. In the
Address Space
window, open the context menu:
Root > Objects > De-
viceSet > [device name] > Forcing > OutputPin4
2. In the context menu, select
Call
.
