Use safety fuses in voltage paths
Use safety fuses in the voltage paths. Otherwise, bodily injury or property
damage may occur in the event of polarity reversal of the voltage and current
inputs.
Do not confuse the current and voltage connections
When connecting, be sure not to confuse the current and voltage paths, since
direct connection of the line voltages to the low-impedance current inputs will
destroy the I/O module.
In the event of negative power values, verify correct connection of voltage
transformer, current transformer or Rogowski coil
In the event of negative power values, verify correct connection of voltage
transformer, current transformer or Rogowski coil.
If voltage transformers are used, they must not generate additional phase shifting
between the primary and secondary sides. Additional phase shifting distorts the
measured values of the phase angle measurement and all measured values that
depend on it; the I/O module does not correct this.
Before connecting the power network to the I/O module, determine the topology
and grounding of the power network on which measurement is to be performed.
The topology specified for the corresponding connection schematic must be
configured in WAGO-I/O-
Check.
