Decorative stitches
These stitches are used for quilting and
decorative seams. Contrasting colours and
decorative embroidery thread create
particularly beautiful stitches.
Elastic decorative stitch
For sewing pieces of fabric together and for
decorations.
1 Fold the edges of the two pieces of fabric
approx. 1.5 cm and iron them.
2 Tack the two pieces of fabric onto paper
or similar carrier material that can be
removed afterwards, keeping a spacing
of approx. 0.2 cm.
3 Sew the two pieces of fabric together so
that the outer zigzag stitches pierce the
folded edges and that the centre seam is
between the fabric edges.

For sewing fabrics together.
