Troubleshooting

Checking the lower thread tension

Attention:

The lower thread tension must

only be changed if adjusting the upper thread

tension does not lead to a satisfactory result.

If a full bobbin has been inserted correctly and

if you lift the bobbin and the bobbin case by

the lower thread, the bobbin case must just

stick to the thread. Only then is the

compressive force of the tension spring set

correctly.

The lower thread tension is set by turning the

screw with a small screwdriver.
