Getting to know the machine
Power switch and connections
Plug the power and foot controller plug into the
respective machine socket.
Plug the power pug directly into an accessible
power socket. Do not use an extension cable.
Attention: The power switch must be switched off
(“0” position).
Remove the oil film possibly present on the
needle plate before the first commissioning.
Caution
Switch off the sewing machine at the power
switch (“0”) and disconnect the power plug from
the power socket when
• the sewing machine is not in use,
• maintenance work is to be performed,
• a power failure occurs during use,
• the bulb is to be changed,
• a thunderstorm occurs

The extension table features an accessories
compartment for the standard accessories
provided.
Only use the accessories provided in order to
avoid damage to the machine.
Always keep the accessories in the bag provided.
CB bobbins suitable for this sewing machine are
stored in the accessories compartment. Only
these bobbins may be used.
