As the contents required to be set in the detector/module setup window are plenty, the
function of batch setting is incorporated to improve efficiency and quicken information setting.
The batch setting of detector/module is divided into batch setting row and batch setting
column.
1. Batch setting row
Batch setting row refers to use of a selected row as the template and batch setting of
equipment with consecutive address number, that is, the equipment at multiple consecutive
addresses share the same equipment type, as follows:
Figure 4-24 Batch setting row of detector/module
First, set the address end number required for batch setting on the template window; the
start address is provided with the number of the address of the selected row (address 1 in this
example); only building number, floor number and room number can be changed and set in the
template window, equipment type and other property items shall keep the same as those of
address 1; if building number, floor number and room number are not checked (boxes before
them are not ticked), it means the original setting is not changed; if building number is checked
(box before it is ticked), it means the building number is the same as that of address 1; if floor
number and room number are checked (boxes before them are ticked) and are set according to
floor number and room number of address 1 and options selected in the drop-down list after it
(i.e. “same”, “ascending order” and “descending order”; “same” by default); if ascending order is
checked in the drop-down list, the floor number of equipment at address 1 is 2, the floor number
of equipment at address 2 is 3 and the floor number of equipment at address 3 is 4, and so on,
which is also suitable for the room number. The issue of boundary value shall be noticed. If the
floor number in ascending order reaches 200 and it is followed by equipment, then the floor
number for subsequent equipment is 200. If the floor number in descending order reaches -10,
then the floor number for subsequent equipment is -10. This is because the floor number is
between -10 and 200. The boundary of room number can be disposed with the same method;
the room number lies between 1 and 255. Confirm each parameter is correctly configured and
then click on "Setup" button to update the list configuration information of detector/module setup.
Click on "OK" button to save batch setting data, otherwise click on "Cancel" button.
2. Batch setting column
Batch setting column is supplementary to batch setting row, which refers to the batch
setting of a single column; double-click column header requiring batch setting to generate
