18 Equipment type setup
The equipment type of detector is typically the same as its production type. The equipment
type of module refers to the type of external equipment connected, wherein manual control
button, manual alarm button, fire hydrant button, acousto-optic alarm apparatus, acoustic alarm
apparatus and light alarm apparatus are special modules, and their equipment type is
consistent with the production type.
As shown in the figure, the options of equipment type include interface ion, interface
photo-electricity, temperature sensing cable and pressure switch; refer to Appendix 1 for the list
of all equipment types available in the system currently. If the equipment to be accessed by the
user is relatively special and is not covered by the list, it can be added by the function of
“equipment type add”. Refer to related instructions of “equipment type add” function for the
specific operations.
The setup of module output mode is as shown in the following figure:
Figure 4-19 Output mode setup
The output mode refers to the mode of control of the control equipment by the module,
which is only valid for modules of control type and not suitable for detectors and modules of
non-control type.
If pulse output is used as the mode of module output, the driving signal at the module
output end will switch off automatically after holding 5-10sec; in case of constant output, the
driving signal will be maintained. Generally, the pulse output is used for the application of the
equipment control end equipped with self-locking logic and is seldom used for other
applications.
The zone number setup of detector/module is as shown in the following figure:
